These long winter days have lead me to dig out my TV Show DVD box-sets and I decided to start with a favourite of mine... Mad Men.
I love the sixties style glamour, the beautiful Marilyn Monroe style curves and of course the amazing lingerie and underwear garments that women of the sixties used to wear.
However when I recently moved on to watching the second series, I noticed that season two episode six titled Maiden Form, is all about an advertising pitch for a huge lingerie brand ... Playtex.

Yes ladies, it’s one of my favourite lingerie events of the year, Valetines day.
People always seem to get down on this time of year, as they see it as a waste of time and another commercial holiday.
A part of me agrees, but I think that it does not matter if you are single or in a relationship, use Valentine’s Day as a day to love yourself and your life.
If you are single have a Valentine’s night with the girls, we see Carrie and Mirander go on a Valentines meal in the Sex and the City Movie.
If you are in a relationship, don’t worry aboFut buying each other expensive gifts (even though it is very nice, don’t get me wrong) but enjoy the relationship that you have.
And of course, if you are in either of these situations, treat yourself to some new sexy lingerie.
Not only will it boost your confidence it will boost you mood and attitude towards your bodies.

As you have all read, I am a big fan of a healthy body image, if you are six foot and a size ten or if you at four foot and a size 14. Women around the world are constantly giving themselves a hard time for not being a “perfect” size.
That is why I am in love with the latest craze of ‘boudoir and pin-up photography’ for women. What a better way to boost ones confidence and create sex appeal within seconds that is all wrapped up in one perfect snap.
Based in Cape Coral, Florida, Angela is a specialist photographer in… you guested it… boudoir photography.
She explains on her site “There’s no better feeling in the world than helping someone new every day feel beautiful and sexy. In my eyes women like Angela deserve a medal, as they are a real inspiration to women. Even Gok Wan loves a boudoir shoot in his hit TV show of “How to Look Good Naked”.

Yes ladies, I did the same thing as you all did, jump for joy, when I heard that Mr David “Golden Balls” Beckham was launching an body wear collection for the popular high street brand H&M.
We have all seen ‘those Armani adverts’ of Becks looking lush in his tight y-front pants. However when H&M released the ‘official pictures’ this week, I just had to do a blog post on the wonderful Mr Beckham.
According to reports, David is set to reveal his latest collection to 162 million people during a Super Bowl ad break on February 5th (which is costing him a mere two million pounds).
The ad will show David’s nine-piece body wear collection (which of course will be modelled by him) and will be launched across 1,800 H&M stores. I for one cannot wait for this video.

Beginning her life as a model/TV presenter, and previously making it into my top celebrity lingerie campaigns blog post, the curvaceous Kelly Brook is yet again about to launch another lingerie campaign for high street retailer New Look.
Whilst showing off her stunning curves (that are the envy of many women) Kelly recently discussed her lingerie likes and dislikes, her love for Agent Provocateur, Victoria’s Secrets (ah a women after my own heart) and of course her New Look Lingerie collection, along with how to maintain her sex appeal at the age of 32 (as if it was ever an issue for her).
Kelly expressed how us ladies should “Embrace our curves and invest in a good push up bra” and her key to maintaining her sex appeal after all these years in the business is “Confidence”.

After seeing this sneak peek preview of Kelly’s fabulous range, I have to say she has definitely made it onto my lingerie wish list for spring/summer 2012.
From sophisticated and sleek black satin to sexy lace and polka dot lingerie sets, Kelly’s range will be an investment sooner rather than later.
